The falls were really nice! We were lucky to be the only ones here! It was raining when we started, but there was enough tree coverage on the trail that it didn’t bother us. The trail was a little muddy and at parts we were a little confused about where to go. After a little investigation though we could find the trail though.

Nice falls with swimming hole. Can be a rocky hike at times but worth it. The preferred route is to go left at the first split. The entire loop including the falls is closer to 3 miles.

Super fun hike. Few parts were muddy. When closer to the falls there is a nice temperature drop. We were actively hiking just under an hour and a half with five kids and a dog with us. Would recommend and will be back. Bring a towel to dry off with after you play in the water.

Drove all the way from Indiana to see this. Beautiful. Was very cold but we still went swimming in it. Wonderful water fall. My 5year-old grandson loved it.

Had a great hike today.. Encountered a snake chillin in a tree. This says the trail is 1.3 miles but my log of the trail says 3 miles and that was the entire loop. If you can withstand the cold water you can take a refreshing dip when you get to the waterfall.

this was the best hike I've done in a while especially since its getting hotter. most of the short hike is next to cliffs so it's very cool. surroundings look like the rain forest and the waterfall is breathtaking. also stop at the general store on 127 and have a jar shake on your way out

Very easy hike other than 2 tricky spots. the waterfall was pretty with a nice, deep swimming hole. The water was freezing but nice!

Super beautiful water!! Trail a little muddy and slick, but just watch where you walk and it’s totally fine. Very worth going in the caves - they’re fantastic!!

Parking can get very crowded. The trail can take you to the top of the falls and down to the bottom with a cave to cool off in.

Great hike for kids! We took our 8, 3 and 1 year old. Trail is not stroller friendly but out one year old hiked in and out with no problem. Trail was muddy but totally worth it!

Easy hike for kids. Trail was very wet and muddy in a lot of places. Almost felt like I was walking in a rain forest. It was 74° & sunny today.

Beautiful today with lots of water. Specks of snow falling too. Nice short chilly day hike. Watch your step on the rocks.

Beautiful hike today! This trail starts out as a wide flat trail covered with leaves but quickly turns into a rocky and sometimes wet trail that you have to navigate closely. I seemed to stop dozens of times to take pictures, everything was so beautiful and interesting. I had my 12 year old Sheltie with me and although she loves the trails, part of this one was too rough for her and we had to carry her up some of the rocks. Awesome waterfall. This trail definitely felt longer than 1.3 miles but extremely enjoyable. A trail you must try!

Easy hike with a beautiful waterfall. Walking down along the cliffs above is absolutely stunning with all the caves and icicles. Be careful because it is slippery on the colder mornings with all the ice. The water was a crystal clear blue I can only imagine what a beautiful swimming hole this would be in the summer. The overlook and the top of the falls was very pretty as well. Only complaint I have is the massive amount of trash littered on this trail. And this was all very old trash starting in the parking lot and we were able to fill two grocery bags full of bottles and cans- primarily beer cans. We would have collected more but ran out of places to store the trash. Looked like it was from last summer since most was collected on the blue blazed trail just before you get to the waterfall. It’s a shame so many people take these beautiful places for granted. Highly recommend you carry trash bags and help clean if you care at all. :)

Following several days of rain, the 65-foot waterfall was awesome! Another waterfall was also present, given an excess of water, plummeting from the upper gorge-edge on to the trail below. Trails were very muddy - better wear good boots! And, the many rocks along the trail were quite slippery, too. The trail passes under substantial overhanging cliffs - practically caves - useful as shelter if the weather changes. You can walk behind the falls, and the trail then loops back up and above the gorge, later reconnecting from whence you came. Not a difficult hike, though very scenic with great geological features.

Wow! The trail is easy with a few moderate challenges close to the bottom. The scenery is lovely and original. The limestone formations give the area a tropical feel. Signs at the beginning indicate pets aren't allowed, which didn't know until I arrived. Even with all the rain, only bits of trail were muddy. Even the drive to the trailhead was pleasant. Will go again.
