Natchez Trace: Nashville to the Mississippi State Line is a 143.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Hohenwald, Tennessee that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for nature trips and scenic driving and is accessible year-round.
Did this some time ago but I still remember the scenery, history and I think a waterfall. I remember doing a couple nice side tails.
Did this a couple years ago and again several years before that.
We have taken this drive many times. The roads are very well maintained. The rest areas are conveniently spaced. There are short nature trails, waterfalls, and many historic points. There is even a campground at Lewis Merriweather if you need an overnight stop. One of our favorite drives!
