Awesome trail! The trail down to the tunnel is super easy and clear. The hike up on the bluffs has some steep parts and is not suitable for small children. Awesome view from the top!

Very steep steps to start and some other ledges to step up onto. Great views of the river and valley esp at the Table Top overlook. The park hours are listed as 7am-7pm but we have seen people taking both sunset and sunrise pictures. Just remember your flashlight and bug spray. And please watch your step on top it’s a steep drop off.

The steps at the beginning of the trail to the overlook are definitely harder than an “easy” trail. However, the overlook that you come to is stunning and I highly recommend. What a beautiful place!

Easy trail, peaceful area to enjoy a picnic and the waterfall. “No swimming” signs are posted, but people do it anyways. We enjoyed climbing on top of the waterfall for a great photo op.

My first hike with AllTrails. This was an easy trail, with a beautiful waterfall/tunnel and a stunning overlook.

This is a pretty little walk through the woods that takes you along the Harpeth River to the tunnel ‘waterfall’ area. Note: the pool below the falls is known to be full of water moccasins, so swimming is unadvisable. If you’d like a little extra trail time, there’s a short path that forks left (incoming) and turns up some terraced stairs to the ridge where there are sweeping views of the Harpeth River valley.

The trail is open again. There’s ‘no swimming’ sign at the waterfall. Some parts are a bit narrow but overall nice beginner trail.

Fun trail. Cool waterfall with a history lesson included. A little muddy at places, but nothing we couldn’t navigate. 11 & 8 yr old had no issues. Added in the overlook, which made it 2 miles. Lots of steps for overlook, but totally worth it! Very glad we came.

The beginning of the trail is great, nicely laid out and not overgrown. But then you get to a fork in the road where one says “out look 1/3 mile up” and the other says “cave” so I first went to the cave and it was nice and big, got a couple of pictures then went to the look out and it was so nice! But it ends with a private property sign and then you turn around. From start, to the cave, back to the fork, to the look out, and back to the start was around a 50 minute hike.

Nice short hike. Interesting history behind the tunnel. Definitely better (the waterfall) when we’ve had a little rain.

A must see if you’re near Nashville. A lot of tiny caves to explore if you’re not claustrophobic. Couldn’t take the dog off leash- too populated

Nice, dog friendly, well maintained trail. 99% grassy. No real access point to the Cumberland so if you are looking to get down to the water, you'll have to climb down 10'-15'. Very flat. Suitable for families. There are at least two different loops you can do depending on how much time you have. We saw a bunny & the dog flushed out a turkey.
