We went in early Feb. with snow on the ground and the views were amazing.

Good hiking/jogging trail. Great views of the lake this time of year and the Tri-Cities area.

Walked about 3/4 of this trail from forest service road 87 today. Beautiful 120 degree views of holston lake, bristol speedway and bays mountain in the distance. Perhaps done best when leaves are down--as they were today.
