Meadow Trail is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Monteagle, Tennessee that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is best used from January until January. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Very easy trail, nicely marked and maintained(there's a section with recently fallen trees on top of the wide trail that was easy to bypass).
I enjoyed it and thanks to the picture here I decided on doing it with the whole family(4,7,12) and had a great time.
This is an excellent walking or hiking loop trail that's located at the back of the South Cumberland State Park Visitors Center in Monteagle, Tennessee. This trail has a few benches located along the trail, and has a nice small lake. This trail would be more suited for nature walking than hiking, but is an excellent trail to do. If you stay on the outer section of the trail it is approximately two miles long, but has several shortcuts to take if desired. My wife and I live very close to this trail and walk it quite regularly. The Park's Visitors Center also has a very nice museum and day use recreation area.
