This run like every run in panther will test you in the best way possible. This trail isn’t tracicked that much accept during cross country season because the local high school uses it for distance

well marked, some grades but overall easy

This trail is hard ascent with switchbacks made for bike use. It was beautiful and challenging. The lake at mid point is a perfect resting point. Had a hard time finding the Loop so I just retraced my steps for second half. Took me 1 hour 15 minutes. Saw a deer, chipmunks, squirrels and jumping fish!

Not an easy trail and has little payoff compared to other trails in the park.

Hiked this 10/01/17. Well kept trail offering lake views, light to moderate woods. Rock outcroppings throughout. Some steep ascents and rocky paths. All in all, a beautiful area, relaxing hike. Saw three deer.
