Lookout Creek Trail is a 2.5 mile loop trail located near Chattanooga, Tennessee. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking and trail running.
The trail is part of the Nature Center. They do charge for access but it goes towards the upkeep of the facility and the zoo that's on site. It's not explained but there is a small nature zoo there as well and multiple off shoot trails from the main trail. Which means you can hike over 8 or 9 miles. The trail also connects to the sunset rock trail, which goes up the mountain. All of it is beautiful and the animals are amazing. Grab a trail map at the front desk.
They wanted $20 dollars for the two of us to hike a 2.5 mile loop, in my mind this wasn't worth it. I'm sure it's a nice privately maintained trail, but not for $20.
Easy trail. Waterfall only flowing during wet weather.
