Went for stone door and this trail is so short we thought we might as well. So glad we did. My 11 and 8 year old boys loved playing at the top of the falls.

Great trail! I took this loop back to the rangers station instead of Rim trail back to complete the entire loop but I lost determination and took the ever so pleasant Laurel Loop which is a stroll in the park after coming up BCG trail. Loved the flat scenery and all of the little bridges and man made walking steps through this area. I also ran into a neat old whiskey still which was very cool

Hiked 24 November after heavy rains. Easy trek. Nice waterfall.

easy down and up trail, with a pretty fall.

an easy short trail form the ranger station if you have time to kill and want to see a pretty waterfall...still has some water running in July 1018...but that was a wet summer...

We did this hike several years back when it had been an extremely hot and dry summer and there was a little bitty falls that did not excite, but I'd like to return there after a good rain to see if it's more impressive. I agree with the other post that I'd only do this in conjunction with the Stone Door hike, not on it's own because it's too short.

Only giving this two stars because it’s not much of a hike. you go down a flight of stairs and reach an overlook. A nice pit stop though

Nice waterfall lots of stairs but can’t get down to the waterfall or I didn’t see how. Not much of a hike.

Very short, but nice add on to other stone door hikes. Kids love to play here in the summer along the flat area below the fall.

short little hike to falls

Easy, short distance loop. It’s a little bit of a descent and climb back up but worth as this is a great waterfall. You can also step out onto the outer rocks of the waterfall to get close to the action (waterfall) which is a great photo opportunity.

Just a nice little hike with steps thrown in, but you can walk right out on top of Falls, so watch you children.

A short trip down steps to the falls. A good warm up for the other trails.

This is an easy hike with some steps/stairs. It's a small waterfall but still pretty. It's a great addition when you hike to the Stone Door.

Short hike. Only worth it if you are combining it with Stone Door

Short hike, unimpressive falls. Good for people that can only do very short (~15-20min., ~0.5mi) trails, but otherwise not worth it.

Short, easy trail. Some stairs at the end. Gorgeous waterfall! Such a short hike and you're rewarded with such amazing beauty. ❤

Super easy, very well maintained, awesome staff at the ranger station. This truly is a beginners trail but also just a few feet from the entrance to the Stone Door trail another very easy trail, great place for beginners to get their start!

Easy, simple, nice view ;)

It was dry when we went. It doesn't compare to Stone Door!! You might as well see it while you are there.

It's right there so you might as well take 10 min to see it. It was barely a trickle when I went though.

The falls were barely flowing, which was a little disappointing but it was a nice way to top off my stone door hike! Also, it is all stairs so beware!

Good Elevation change.

The falls are at the Stone Door park area (park there), but when you get started you go left at the trail head, It is marked well. It is a lot of stairs but very nice. You can hike back up behind the fall a bit but I did not see a trail to the bottom of the falls.

Short, steep descent on stairs to a beautiful low flow waterfall. Steep ascent out on old rocky roadbed.
