This is a moderate mountain biking trail located in Nashville's Hamilton Creek area. There are lots of rocks and roots typical of many east coast mountain bike trails. There are not a lot of steep climbs. Not for hikers or walkers.

Lots of road noise from the neighboring highway, but it was a beautiful trail and we didn't run into a single person the whole time. (On memorial day weekend, no less!)

This trail is enjoyable enough, not too difficult. However, most of it runs along the highway, and the traffic drowns out the peaceful nature around you. The length was okay, and better once we cut off the trail and hiked along the lake.

Nice loop mountain bike trail in Nashville, TN. It's about 4 miles long. Lots of rocks and roots. Good work-out. There were several large trees downed when I went so I had to walk my bike over them. The trail blazes / markings are not easy to see. The Lakeside Trail is also called the East Trail. You can add on the West (Pinnacle) Trail and make your ride longer.
