Beautiful hike. The hill is a doozy! Take plenty of water. I am always astounded at how many people I see not carrying any water and who have no clue about the trail they are hiking. Your heart rate will climb on this one!

I hike this trail weekly and love it so much, but it should be noted it is not a hard trail by the overall rating standards. It is harder than some paths at Radnor, but it shouldn't be considered hard if you're comparing it to other legitimately hard trails in the Smokies or other TN State Parks. It is gorgeous, pleasant, and well kept.
