There is 2 sections to this trail. Once in the parking lot there is water to splash in, eat lunch. If you walk through the tunnel it takes you out to the river. From the parking lot there really is no trail, but if you walk there guard rail over the tunnel there is the trail. Nice trail all along the water. There are places to get down to the many falls and swimming .Hiked with 2 dogs awesome trail!

Fun outing with nice stream views almost all the way up. Quite a few blow downs made passage a little more rigorous. Trailforks’ route ends prematurely, the trail continues half a mile from the route’s turnaround and “ends” next to some nice falls. Very crowded trailhead and inadequate parking. Several ad hoc campsites in the first half mile, no one seen after the first half mile.

Great hike, muddy in spots. Pretty much falls along the entire hike, nice wide trail for most of the hike. Trees down in 2 places but easily passed over.

Trail follows Goforth Creek, which is beautiful and has lots of places to get feet wet. couple of places in the first mile with trees down but passable (see pics). Most of the trail follows an old road so easy to follow trail, but several wet creek crossings. Didn't see another soul the whole time (and on a nice May Saturday morning).

Really beautiful and easy trail that follows the creek with several spots to stop and take a dip. Lots of downed trees in the last half mile or so, watch for poison ivy when maneuvering around these. Also, we saw a copperhead at the start of the trail. Keep an eye out!

Beautiful trail. Nearly the entire hike is alongside a swiftly moving creek. After all the recent rains, the creek abundantly flowed, leaving cascading falls all along the route. There were muddy spots, lots of maneuvering over and under fallen trees and four creek crossings (none of which required a change in shoes or getting wet). Hiking poles came in handy with all the maneuvering. Poison ivy is abundant along the entire trail but so are beautiful wildflowers.

Easy hike. The hardest part was scrambling over fallen trees that had collected lots of brush and mud from recent rains.

Great scenic trail next to a beautiful stream. Lots of trees down toward the last part of the trail. Not really a problem to get around them. There are a couple of stream crossings. Very easy.

This trail is mainly like an old logging road that goes along the creek. There are 3 water crossings which were relatively easy, but would have been harder around the recent rains (mainly Feb 2020). The muddy areas were not bad. There were some old trees to go over or under, but no brush or branches. Near the end of the trail, it is very rocky, like an old stream, with some water. Once you get past that, the trail technically ends, but a path continues. I followed that until brush started to become an issue. I enjoyed this trail. The falls & rocks are so interesting. There are plenty of places to stop & enjoy a snack or a meal.

It was a beautiful hike along the creek to some sliding rock waterfalls. We were there after several days of rain and there were several muddy spots along the trail as well as downed trees. There are a few fairly easy creek crossings on the trail. It was a wonderful mix to make it a great hike. The trail becomes overgrown and not easy to continue after the falls.

Beautiful hike along the creek on a well groomed trail. Easy hike for the older folks or young children with plenty of opportunities for “Kodak moments”.

Great short day hike. The scenery is great with all the trees, rocks, creek and small waterfalls. Hiked on 12/21/19. Weather was perfect.
