Awesome short hike with lots to see! When you get to the bridge, you're about half way there. Go about 50' further and take the stone stairs to your right. You will pass through a stone door in the rock. Coming out of the rock you will be overlooking the bridge. Continue along side the creek for about another 1/4 mile. You will pass several small cascades (when it's recently rained) and the path will meander from the forest beside the creek down into the stones and sand of the creek. Keep going until you find the cascade that is about 50 yards from Ochs Road (you will see and hear cars through the trees). There are some old white blazes for the main trail and blue blazes for the trail from the stone stairs and stone door to the cascade. Happy hiking!

Poison Ivy was overwhelming. The trail is overgrown in several spots. Trail surface is excellent. Waterfalls with bridge and a rock staircase with hidden stone door. Really cool. A great little swimming hole too.

This is a very scenic hike! Multiple water falls and rock formations. not sure where they are getting the 2 miles from. this hike is 1 mile out and back from the road. Easy for all levels.

Love this little trail! We only had a little time before heading to Nashville and this was the perfect hike. Very interesting with small waterfalls and pools of water (a lot of rain lately).

Perfect trail for kids! Only was 1mi to the falls AND BACK though. Two small swimming hole areas. TONS of poison ivy on sides of the trail.

Nice wide trail. Waterfall trickles into several small pools for the kids to play in

This hike will always be one of my favorites. It’s not strenuous and it’s easy to make it a short or longer hike. The rocks are perfect for relaxing in the shade or having a little picnic.

A great short hike for everyone. Parking is limited and you can pass the parking lot pretty easily.

A hidden gem! Right off the highway but somehow still secluded and beautiful. You’ll definitely want to take a dip in the summer!

great trail if you're on a time limit or want something easier for people that aren't as physically able. There are even a few spots to get your feet wet on a hot day.

Love it! Limited parking but not usually an issue. Easy hike with great boulders and rock walls towards the end. There is a small swimming hole perfect for toddlers and young children at the base of the main “falls” (not sure if I would call it a waterfall). Also you can climb down to see two more “falls”. Climb up beside it and go through a stone door up to the top of the creek and that is a great place to walk up the creek and play. If you keep going you get to a bridge where the road goes over the creek and there is a cool tunnel that you can walk through. I have never been past that. I always take the trail back... in and out. Not sure what the one guy was saying about ending on the road!? There is a whole trail system that this trail connects to. Possible there might be a point where it meets the road. But, why wouldn’t you just take the the trail back instead of the road... anyways. Great trail.

Easy hike with a nice little uphill trek returning to the car. Falls and cascades are pretty and the trail passes through a large rock. Fun!

Great for small kids. Our 3.5 yo did great. We hiked in and saw the falls, went up the stairs and through a cool cave like structure and then hiked up the riverbed a bit and found a place to eat our lunch we packed. Really fun and short hike.

One of my favorite trails on the mountain, especially if you are looking for a quick round-trip hike with a waterfall.

This is a short hike with hills, interesting rock formation you walk through. The water falls at the top are beautiful. A great short hike.

Nice hike, really nice falls, but the end of the trail dumps you onto the highway, a long and very dangerous trek back to the trailhead and my car. By God's grace a very nice gentleman stopped and offered me a ride to my car.

Great trail, short 1/2 mile to the waterfalls area with lots of pools and rocks. Took a group of kids there and they loved it, climbing all over the rock formations and playing around the stream for several hours.
