HikingGreat!

Easy walk to waterfalls, more trafficked, few mask wearers.

Great trails, rocky terrain with exposed roots in areas. See Debord and Emory Gap Falls from this route. A go-to hike when visiting Frozen Head SP/NA.

It was a pretty easy trail with a steady incline to Emory Gap Falls. Unfortunately, with the lack of rain the Emory and Burdord Falls were no more than just a trickle.

This is an extension of the Debord falls trail. It is easy up to Debord falls then it turns tougher the closer you get to Emory Gap falls. Just like Debord falls it is dependent on recent rainfall. I’ve never seen it dry but expect barely a trickle if it’s been dry.

Nice trail with a few issues of roots and rocks. Not to bad and mostly shaded. Unfortunately the creek was down so the waterfall was lacking...

We did Emory Gap and Debord Falls in tandem. There’s nothing “easy” about Emory Gap! More on the hard side of moderate! And, practically no water at the Emory Falls. Debord Falls was only marginally better as far as water flow. At least the trail to Debord was easy, as advertised.

Gorgeous hike along creek and pretty falls. Easy to fun and follow, little muddy and rocky and good waterfalls after a rain. Would do it again!

Had a great trip up to the almost waterless waterfall today! Despite that surprise, it was still a very pleasant walk with some fun rock and root trekking throughout.

I hiked this trail in October. This trip was much different*. While there were lots of rocks on the trail in October, there have been some heavy rains, so now there’s lots of washout, and lots of tree roots. It is a good trail for dogs, and you can pop off to other areas, but wear good shoes with a good “trail” tread to keep from slipping. *I forgot to stop recording. I hiked to Debord Falls, then Emory Gap Trail.
