This was a fun trail and a great one for all ages. It was an easy trail and we all enjoyed the peaceful and interesting history of the area. So much to do and see in the area.

There are a couple trees that appear to have been down for quite awhile. The only way to get past them is to climb over them. They're not huge, but if you need a trail with no obstacles, this isn't a good option at this time. We really enjoyed this trail and will go again if we're in the area!

Was staying in the Elkmont Campground and decided to go for a short walk and found myself on this little nature trail. Very nice, quiet, and away from the crowds of the park. Definitely recommend.

Excellent little trail for a nice stroll through the woods; easy trail ideal for little children and the elderly who might not be able to tackle the common trails found in the GSMs. Also, an excellent trail for teaching children about the beauty and needed respect for Nature.

Great little loop trail, great tree canopy so very shaded. Took kids, 5 & 7, and they enjoyed it. Trailhead not well marked from road, but wasn’t hard to find.

Great trail for curious toddlers, good little incline for those that want to get their blood warmed up and easy to carry a 32.5lbs baby on your back! High recommend because there’s no foot traffic!

We explored this trail on a rainy and windy day. Very easy trail, but provided a lot of fun just off the trail and plenty of things to be curious about.

Short hike on forest floor. Parking and bathrooms at Elkmont Campground. The trail guide was very helpful, and gave us opportunities to stop and look around.

This is a great intro or family hike. I hiked this with my wife and three kids, the youngest being 3. It's beautiful. Be sure to pick up a guide to get additional information at each signpost.

The abandoned buildings make this trail (and off trail) fun to explore; watch for snakes. We encountered a fair few.
