Decent little hike! Hopping up and down rocks a bit but it's nothing overwhelming. Due to the lack of rain, the falls are non existent. The path to Edwards Point is pretty clearly marked though and IF you get off trail, just use the alltrails maps. I managed to have cell phone reception almost the whole way to EP. The trail presents a lot of rocks, uphill and down hill. BE CAREFUL when you start to get close to EP because the trail cuts beside a bluff and you have about 2 feet of trail width and it immediately drops off the side, straight down. EP is a chill spot and the trip is pretty quick to make. Watch your footing, take in the scenery and enjoy the trek to the point!

Trail is downhill until Rainbow Falls. Then some up and down and light rock scrambling for a short while. Take it slow on the steep parts and it's not bad. Great views at the end! The way back up from the Rainbow Falls area is probably the most strenuous part

Excellent trail signs/markers were visible. Trail was easy to navigate, come when skies are clear for a great view! Would say it’s a little more then moderate especially for a beginner due to the rocky parts but overall worth it even if you have to take a few breaks in between. Also, there’s about 10 parking spaces right before the trail which is excellent! The bridge makes for a great pic and only recommends 3 people at a time to cross.

Great hike with a lot of scenic views! Gets pretty steep in some areas but worth it! The bridge is pretty cool and you can stop and swim in the creek at Rainbow falls!

Great hike! However, it is pretty rocky. I would rate higher than moderate level. Other than that, the view was gorgeous!

A great hike, although the rock scrambles I would rate as a bit more than “moderate.” But the view of the Tennessee River Gorge is ample reward for the effort.

Great little 4ish mile roundtrip hike down to beautiful Rainbow Lake, cross a cool cable bridge to start a challenging, rocky ascent to a rim trail, taking you to an amazing view of the river valley. View was worth the hike!

Probably best as an autumn hike due to the profusion of poison ivy that surrounds parts of the trail.

We had a great time hiking this morning. It was our first time on the trail so we got somewhat confused towards the beginning due to lack of signs, however, once we figure out the true trail, it was great. Beautiful views! Would definitely hike it again.

The view at Edwards point is absolutely stunning and worth the hike! Trail is little confusing at some areas especially if you have never been on this trail but having this app and map helps alot.

I love this hike and the reward of the fantastic view. I advise you to stay on the trail and do not try to get a view of Rainbow Falls. Many people have required rescuing or worse.

Great hike. Probably hiked this area 100 times. Very rocky and steep in places, but great views and falls.

Only made it to the Julia Falls overlook. This is a STRENUOUS trail! Made it down the mousetrap. The trail is a mess & the downed trees only made it worse. The overlook was nice. A bluff overlooking the Tennessee River gorge. The waterfall is visible through the trees. Went about .3 farther & turned around. This trail ends up at Edwards Point, which is supposed to be really great. Hauled myself back up the mousetrap & made it to my car before it rained.
