The waterfall was absolutely breathtaking! If it had been a little warmer, I would have spent some time in the pool at the base. The trail up is a lot of fun but extremely rocky. At times, I thought I’d lost the trail, but it was just across a large expanse of rocks. Most rocks are stable, but be on the lookout for the wobbly bits.

It felt a lot shorter than expected. Quite a bit of rock hopping so sturdy shoes are recommended. We keep our dog on a leash at all times hiking. EVERY dog we came across was off leash on this trail which was not good for our dog. We had to start yelling ahead to owners to let them know we had a dog. Everyone was friendly about it but just an FYI. Other than that the trail is fantastic. A little bit of everything. Plus the fall packs a punch.

Absolutely beautiful! The lookout was amazing and so breathtaking. My friends and I had a picnic there. We then went to see the waterfall. If you want to go to the base of the waterfall, you’ll have to go a little off the actual trail, but it’s not too hard of a hike. This was a great hike and I highly recommend it!

New favorite! Most majestic waterfall in the area. Must have a little sister complex with Foster just down the street - every bit as fabulous.

HikingGreat!Rocky

Just went here today with my husband and could not recommend it more! I could have sat by that waterfall at the end for hours! We took a detour to a smaller waterfall by the buffet, not sure if it’s always flowing but it’s some tricky footwork to get up there. Would not recommend for dogs, we saw a hiker as we were leaving with a large dog who was really getting tripped up on all of the rocks. Wear some boots as the trail is very rocky, but the end is so worth it!

This is where I take people of all skill levels when I want to seem impressive but not demanding. There's almost ALWAYS a rainbow in the waterfall.
