Did this trail August 19.
This short trail is a lot more difficult than it is rated. Most of the trail is about half way down into the gorge and is predominantly scrabble. wear good boots. saw plenty of climbing areas.
Don't forget to take the Denny west four out to see the overlook up the Fiery Gizzard.
The Denny falls is a really unusual and spectacular falls.
be careful and enjoy

Technical but short hike. Nice fall at the end. A lot of climbers out today!

It was a nice, short, difficult hike if that's what you're looking for. Personally I didn't think the hard work getting there was worth the view at the end, but to each their own.

Nice trail, but water is a trickle this time of year.

Great surprise at the end

A good hike. Some strenuous sections. The falls at the end were beautiful. I had a large tree fall across the trail while I was there.

Great Hike! Got to parking lot on Sunday around 3 pm and had the whole trail to myself. Got to falls and took a dip, What a treat. well worth the effort. Trail and big rocks are very slippery so good thing to have are poles.

Breathtaking fall at the end of a fun, but wee bit difficult hike. It's an unfinished trail, so parts of it feel like you are actually off trail. Lots of rocks to hop across. Trail is well marked most of the way.

My husband and I did this trail on Sunday and it was amazing. We drove 2 hours and it was well worth it as a day date.

The waterfall is amazing, the hike to it seems longer than what the sign says. The last 1/4 mile or so to the waterfall is very rocky. The waterfall is worth it though, I ran into several hikers who asked if the hike was worth it while heading back.

Beautiful! Short hike, but seems longer. Be ready for some navigating over rocks, both large and small. Stunning waterfall at the end!! On the way out, we hiked up to the trail that follows the bluff. It isn’t marked but you can’t get lost. Well worth it, if you’re game for a little adventure.

The waterfall at the end was definitely worth the hike!! I was able to hang my hammock up right underneath the waterfall and take about an hour nap. It’s so lightly trafficked, there was no one but me for about an hour and a half, so that was very nice. If you aren’t paying close attention, you’ll lose the trail. It’s completely rock jumping at parts, with no dirt trail to follow. If you’re up for an adventure, i highly suggest this hike!

Beautiful trail with a breathtaking waterfall. Denny Cove is our favorite in this area.

Easy hike with some rocky spots at the end coming up on the falls. I went after a huge rain and the falls were raging! Hardly any other foot traffic making other human interaction minimal. (

Great hike. This was my first time there. This is now one of my favorite waterfalls in the area.

Great hike with beautiful views of the valley on the way to the gorgeous waterfall.

Nice hiking trail. Lots of uneven boulders make up the trail, toward the end, near the waterfall, so be prepared for a little adventure. Definitely worth the hike, the waterfall is just beautiful and picturesque. Took us about 1 hour to get to the waterfall. Gates close 30 minutes after sunset so please give yourself enough time. When you see the sign that says waterfall 1 mile it actually feel much much longer from that point but that's when the fun starts. Hope you Enjoy!

It was definitely worth the walk. It said it was 1 mile to the waterfall but it felt way longer than just 1 mile. Highly recommend checking it out!!

Well worth this hike! Love that the last 1/4 mile is unfinished...adds to the adventure! Will definitely head back this fall as I could make out other smaller "falls" on bluffs to the trail left.

The trail is under construction, but appears to be nearly finished. Caught the waterfall the day after a heavy rain. One of the best waterfalls that I have seen.
