The falls were impressive and it was a nice break from driving back to Nashville.

Stopped to break up the monotony of the drive from Nashville to Knoxville. It is a short detour from I-40. The Falls trail is short and easy. You don't get a full view of the Falls, but impressive just the same. Definitely made us want to come back to have fun on the rocks and natural pool.

Great easy trail, especially for families. Went twice so far and can't wait to go back. About half the trail is through a stream, as long as you go slowly and be careful on slippery rocks there's nothing to worry about. Definitely recommend water shoes, bought a pair for $15 at the general store right outside the parking area.
The waterfall is gorgeous and the water is beautiful to swim in especially on hot days, around noon it's pretty packed but due to the park closing at 6, there's not many people left by about 4-5 pm.
Definitely recommend taking the trip to Cummins!

This hike was half trail and half through the stream. definitely recommend shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Waterfall at the end was beautiful, and easy to navigate. The park provided life jackets at the waterfall for small children at no charge. Park officers were there to ensure people were enjoying themselves safely, which was a plus. Overall, great experience with this hike.

High-volume trail. Fun river crossings at the bottom. Gorgeous waterfall, but can get really crowded really quickly.

This was a strenuous hike down to the falls. We had to go through water ( literally walking through water across the way) and we even crawled across a log. It was a fun time but tiring in the end.

Amazing falls but only go on a weekday. I went on a Sunday and it was too crowded to enjoy. There are rangers directing people on the weekends. They said few people are there on weekdays.
