my visit was a few days after a major rainfall when several people were stranded and at least one person lost their life.
the falls seemed to be running fairly heavily but the stream was shallow and not turbulent.
I was unaware that the trail ended in the water and chose not to remove my shoes, many people were already in water shoes and flip-flops.
I found the walking easy, the people friendly and the weather was spectacular.

This place is amazing!!! You have a small hike down to river. Then the rest of the hike is beside or in the river. You have to cross twice before you get to the falls. Bring water shoes or sneakers that can get wet. There are too many rocks to do this in bare feet but that didn't stop people from trying. Please Please be careful during bad weather. We left these falls an hour before a flash flood hit. Alot of people had to rescued and one is still missing.

Very heavy traffic with limited view of waterfall from lookout.

May be better trail to bottom swimming hole on a weekday when not so many people are there.
