Easy trail to a small cascade on the right.
This was part of a loop we did above Cades Cove. The first part of the trail is pretty flat with nice forest views and the waterfall on Crooked Arm creek. Then you go up. A lot of switchbacks but there are spots to take a break and take in the views high above Cades Cove. The views are worth the climb.
Very worn and rutty trail. I would not hike this if it was not to do others in the area.
This trail starts at the beginning of the Cade's Cove loop. It is 2.2 miles with an elevation gain of nearly 2000 feet. You will cross Crooked Arm Creek and see the waterfall during your ascent. The views from the ridge make the climb worthwhile. Around the 2 mile mark you will be able to see all of Cade's Cove and the surrounding mountains.
