Great paved track through some interesting areas...creekside, wooded areas, a dog park... Really proud of my hometown and the work they've put into creating this beautiful urban trail.
It is true that this is a paved multipurpose "greenway" that runs the greater length of Cleveland's main roadway, but it is a worthwhile pathway for walking, running, biking, strolling with the kids, or feeding the ducks! Yes, people fish in the creek as well, though I would not advise eating the fish. Cleveland has invested much love, time, and energy into this effort and have created a great space for outdoors enthusiasts of all ages, especially many who may love the outdoors but not be as physically fit as needed to do more rigorous trail hikes, runs, or rides. Love this year round!
The greenway is great
It was beautiful!!
This DOES NOT qualify as a trail. This is a walk-way.
it's a paved walkway next to a main road, I don't thnk it qualifies as a trail
This is a paved, relatively flat walking trail located in the center of Cleveland Tennessee. Several miles long with a hand full of entrances, it boasts lots benches and plenty of lighting. There is a playground and place to feed ducks as well. A creek runs close by for much of the distance. Pets are welcomed on leashes and with responsible owners who will pick up any left messes (there are periodic "doggie" stations with a trash can and baggies). The wide pavement also makes for an easy biking or rollerblading outing too.
