Great hike! It was very dry today, w the rivers easy to cross. Take insect repellent this time of year, though the bugs weren’t as bad as I thought they would be. Note there are many intersecting trails in this system and it’s easy to unexpectedly do more/less miles if you don’t pay attention.

Amazing hike. Had to wade through the river 3-4 times. Many times the trail was completely under water. Right at the start of the trail we went right and unless you do the major river crossing first it dead ends. If take a left right out of the trail you work your way up to the big crossing and gain a little confidence. The river was high due to lots of rain fall. This hike was excellent. The 10.1 mike loop is extremely accurate.
