Moderate up hill hike the way to the site. The backcountry site itself has standard bear cables to hang your pack. Excellent views of the creek, tons of wildflowers, and fungi.

I hiked up Anthony creek trail and Russel Field trail and somewhat overestimated the challenge of getting to the back country site. Overall it should take roughly 2 hours from the starting location, but it is an up hill climb the entire way - so pack lightly. The campsite itself is very minimal, offering bear cables and a basic pit to start a fire. That being said the winding creek and untouched forest offering a diversity of flora and fauna made the overnight trip worth it.
