This is the perfect trail for beginning walkers or hikers as it is asphalt from start to finish with several benches and a water fountain. We shared the trail with a couple of guys on wheel boards. They were super polite and we enjoyed watching them fly down the asphalt walkway. This trail runs through some agricultural fields and across the back of some of the campus at UT Martin. There's equal amounts of sun and shade at the time of day we were hiking. We didn't see any wildlife, but you can imagine that there would be with creeks and thickets throughout the trail. We took about 45 minutes to walk this trail one way, but we did stop once for an overheated member of the party. It's a good thing we parked a second car at the other end. We'll be back for this one on a cool evening.
