Suburban paved trail. One portion along little harpeth River. Some areas through field. Small portion sidewalk along road . Small hills. We bikes this one . If searching for more rustic hike this might not be your choice unless avoiding mud after rains.

A nice, paved path. Very busy but lovely. Mostly runs along the little Harpeth and offers many points to stop and rest, picnic prizes just see the mellow river and gnarled roots of trees.

Trail was easy! Lots of bikers!

This trail tends to be pretty crowded. I spend more time dodging people than I do enjoying views of stream crossings, young forests and open pastures. Even though there are some pretty sections to this trail, there are a lot of awkward areas — sidewalks beside busy streets, parking lot crossings and infrastructure distractions — that make it a cumbersome route to follow.

Super spreader trail. People aren’t careful at all. Tons of kids who can’t ride their bikes and oblivious parents. Avoid

Great trail for biking. A good few families, dogs and runners, but not overly crowded. Some good steep hills, slow and long inclines, with time to rest in between. Will do again!

This was a very scenic hike for approx 3/4th of the trail. The remainder took you by the road. There was a lot of foot traffic but in a good way. We saw lots of wildlife and multiple deer.

Nice and easy trail. Loved how it followed a river. Lots of shade. Perfect for walking for exercise.

As far as paved greenways go, this one is well-maintained and much used. I walked the trail from River Park up to Crockett Park and back, about 3.3 miles total. The Little Harpeth River is the big draw here, and I even spotted a heron along its banks. There are a few horse farms on private land abutting the trail which is an interesting contrast to the trees and water.

I've used this trail countless times for my daily exercise (walking, hiking, running and biking). It consists of all paved walking/bike paths so it is easily traversable. There are some "hills" as you move south on the trail, but nothing that has an elevation gain or loss of over 50 feet, so it is a fairly easy trail for novice bikers. The trail pretty much follows and has multiple access points to the Little Harpeth River, which is very picturesque. The park is very dog-friendly. There is also a lot of wildlife that come up to the edge of the trail, like deer.

Great for a walk or run. Primarily in the shade and a few spots to stop and play in the creek.
