Great hike - well maintained, easy trail with a larger than anticipated waterfall!

This was a great hike! My 8 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself, and the falls were beautiful!!

Not many markings along the route, trust the blue marks on the trees and yourself.

Great trail a lot of sand and rocks and leaves down hill all the way but the last 300 yards are the most spectacular there’s a great handrail going down about 3/4 of the steps and then they also have stone steps all the way down my dogs loved it I did as well

Great trail to the waterfall and plenty of other trail opportunities to hike down. The waterfall was beautiful. 3 mile hike to the waterfall round trip so it wasn’t too bad. Will go back just to check out the other trails.

Beautiful falls. The trail was not bad at all. The path was pretty worn so there must be a lot of traffic in the summer months. We met about 8 or so people on our late afternoon trip.

Easy hike out to the falls. Trail was mostly hard-packed dirt with areas of roots and rocks. He the opportunity to be the only ones at the falls for most of the time we were there. Recommend going early to beat the crowds. We passed several groups on our way out.

Super easy hike. Minimal water coming out at the falls but it's still decent.

Great trail with a nice waterfall at the end. We took 4 kids between the ages of 3-10 and no one had any issues.

Beautiful, easy hike! Waterfall is perfect for playing in. Only real changes in elevation are at the end where the falls are. Stairs are slippery, be careful! Good walk for kids and dogs and adults who may not be able to handle the tougher or more rocky trails.

Very nice enjoyable walk/hike. You can take the kids or dog. Beautiful scenery at the falls. Best after a little bit of rain.

There’s no street sign for Oswald Road. Stay on 64 till you see the large brown and white sign that says Benton Falls Trail head. There’s also a small brown and white sign that says Ranger Station. It was an easy hike to the top of the falls. It was about 50 feet to the bottom of the falls. It was more technical. But they were steps, and a handrail! Very doable. It hadn’t rained in a little while, so the falls were not raging! It’s probably better the day after a rain. Thank you to the review that said the trail head starts behind the bathroom with the water on your right. Park at the lower parking lot. It’s three dollars per day.

Easy sandy trail to a nice waterfall. Do not take Benton Springs road unless you have 4 wheel drive We didn't think our Malabu was going to make it up the steep gravel road in some spots. Stay on Oswald to 64, nice paved road. Park has nice picnic area and swimming in a lake.

Trail was good, wide open and clear. Fairly easy with a couple of uphills especially coming up from viewing the falls. FYI, DO NOT take Oswald Dome road towards Delano by GPS, road closed after being on terrible gravel road for 4 miles and had to turn around to go back other way.

Went through a severe thunderstorm on the way and had to sit in the parking lot for about 45 minutes before starting the trail heading off to the fall. The trail was wet but pretty flat until the very end where you descend down to the bottom of the falls -definitely worth the trip beautiful like a wedding cake It’s about an hour and 45 minutes

Great hike, nice trails! Lots of steps down to the waterfall , but it's doable. Also you can stop at the top and hang out above the falls. The trail isn't marked clear in the beginning. we parked beside the restrooms and then the trail is straight ahead. If you're looking at the pond/lake it's to the left and when you walk out on it the water is to your right. Important ... We should have listen to another review about going down to Oswald Road instead of following the GPS. Look ahead at the directions and just stay on 64 to Oswald. Don't turn onto 314 if coming from Cleveland. it is on the right beside the ranger station about 5 min past 314. It has amazing views to stop at and most importantly it's paved. Benton springs road off 314 is rough and gravely. I wouldn't do it in a car...

Great short hike that we started toward the end of the day. We had time to go down to the falls and get back before sunset. Our family gave it a thumbs up!

Pretty flat overall, great trail, I underestimated how long it was and wore the wrong shoes but will be going again and will be bringing my dog this time, beautiful area too!

Trail is moderate to easy and in good condition. Recommend for any skill level. Falls are very pretty.

it was a great hike, with awesome weather. There was a few places near the falls that made traversing tricky to include a fallen tree across the trail that you have to crawl under. it is a small place that gathers a lot of traffic. the falls were beautiful, and the water was really cold. I'd definitely go again.
