This is an out and back truck trail to Lake Cherokee. Easy trail, wide, flowers, deer with lake views. Many visitors ride horses here, so it's dog friendly. Because of the deer here keep dogs on leash.
Gravel path and easy hiking. Some lake views. Unfortunately the path is very over grown and not managed. Weeds were knee to waist high and covered with spiders. I don’t know if this is normal but it was very disappointing. Maybe I will try it again after the plants die back.
Nice little hike, but had to wade through seas of wild grass. If you are afraid of bugs beware!
I enjoyed it even though we didn’t get all the way to the end due to trail being over grown and had no desire to find a snake. The only reason I did not give this trail a 5 is due to while letting my dog run on the beach area we found a syringe with no needle, broken glass, etc. The syringe was my biggest issue . Other than that had a great time in a beautiful area!
Should not even be in the map any more. The vegetation has overgrown and there is not too much at the end.
Super simple easy trail. Parking was great. Plenty of water. Was a nice easy ride.
