Nice and easy afternoon hike. Not much of a view until the end but once you get there it’s worth it! Did this with our 10 year old with no problem.

Very easy and quick hike back into the area. For someone with disabilities or limited mobility this is a very very easy hike. Also good for dogs as well. Be careful of the cliff sides if you choose not to use the observatory lookout spot. One dog was very curious when we hike along the edge.

Yesterday the trail was in mint condition! Perfect for my 12, 9 and 5 year old. It’s more of just a road then a hiking path.

Great trail to get your feet wet with hiking. Trail is very open. Kid friendly and pup friendly. Few good lookouts as well

Great trail, and 5 stars in accordance with how the trail is advertised. Not really a trail, but more of an access road; however, there are some beautiful views from the top. Super easy trail and virtually impossible to get “lost” by accidentally veering off the trail. I don’t have super young children anymore, but I saw a LOT of families on the trail with young children (maybe 3-4) and they were doing just fine. Good afternoon family hike.

There is ice and snow in certain spots of the trail, but nothing that is too much to handle if one is careful and aware!! Beautiful skies 1/18/2020!

Some ice and snow but pretty easy. Easy access from hwy and a few others out. Our 3 year old son liked it and hiked most of it.

A short very easy hike. It's a forest road basically, interesting history but not the most beautiful hike in the hills.

Observations: Basically a gravel road. Went on a Saturday, & there were quite a few other people out there. Look out for dog poop! Our 3 year old was able to hike the whole thing. Worth doing once.
