French Creek Natural Area Trail is a 1.6 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Fairburn, South Dakota that features a river and is rated as moderate. Double track takes you immediately through the creek and leads to the French Creek agate beds where you can hunt for agates. Free primitive NF campground at the trail head. Overall a nice rolling prairie.

It was a good trail. But dont do the whole thing unless you have plenty of time. Also u will get wet and u will be cutting your own path and you will be climbing boulders.
