Little steep for about a half mile once you leave Centennial Trail on to #40 so I would give it between easy to moderate. Nice open meadow walk for the last mile into Silver City. Close to paved roads so around Rally time can't escape cycle noise.

We only went in 2 miles and turned around because was a really hot day, i would say it should be ranked moderate not easy. A lot of elevation climb in what we walked.

No need for a 50 lb pack!! This was my first 2 day trip hike trip ever in i think 2012 maybe.. I'm in MUCH better shape now..
If you starting at Deerfeild, have your pick up car in Slivercity!!! no need for the rest of the hike, that parts brutal after 2 days of walking...
