Beautiful hike. I did it in the afternoon. It didn’t feel hot because you are in the woods almost all the time. Lots of shade. I did it clockwise.

Great trail with a gorgeous lookout. Highly recommend going clockwise because the end would be more steep going uphill.

A nice workout to the top the a nice leisurely meander back down through the woods if you do it in a clockwise direction. If you want a workout, take the left wider, rocky trail at the fork about 1/4 mile up from the gate. Awesome view when you get to the top, makes you envy the buzzards.

Very muddy and icy but that is to be expected for this time of year. Beautiful views. Clearly marked trials. LOTS of dog poop!

Great trail. I used it for trading with my pack. Close to town, easy access. I recommend going early as the trail will get busy, it is popular with mountain biking. Early morning views are spectacular. Watch for poison ivy right off the trail. Overgrown this year with all the rain. No down timber which is nice because many of the surrounding areas are full of down timber.

Fun trails you can take off the perimeter. also south Rim is worth the detour. the beginning is very muddy but it dries out toward the top.

This loop is fairly simple, it’s on the easy side of moderate and all ages will be able to do it. It goes off to the left on the main easy trail and makes a loop back to it.

Great location with a variety of trails that all loop around. They range from difficult to easy and all end up back at the parking area. There are also many intersections, so if you get tired you can take an easier trail back.
