Great hike. Nice views at the top. A little longer than expected due to other trails with Buzzard Trail.

Me and my wife took this trail last weekend and the view is spectacular. Any age/fitness level will be able to complete this hike as there are different difficulties on it.

Trailhead is easily assessable and is just a few minutes outside of Rapid City. But don’t be fooled, you’ll experience an enjoyable hike and feel like you’ve been plunked down in the middle of enchanted land. I took advantage of a beautiful day and night. Decided to throw up the hammock and spend the night! Go do this!

This is a nice trail with many different routes marked.

The map shown here is inaccurate. It is a lollipop loop trail, but it's not this one. The long/lat is correct, so simply follow the trail once you get there. It's also 1.6 miles TO the loop portion of the trail, not total.

Was a nice loop with some great views. The Buzzard Loop Trail as it's shown in the app is different than the one marked in the park though. If you want to do the trail as it's shown in the app, I think it would be a combination of North Buzzard and Jack's Trail based on the trailhead map.

Hiked Buzzard Trail stumbly and thought it was a nice moderately to easy hike. Probably hiked for a little over an hour. The lookout view was great.

My whole family hiked this trail. It's easy for the kids but enough to get the heart pumping. The view is breath taking.

The trail was easy to hike and wide. The intersections required paying attention to or knowing you path in advance but you could always reference the maps that were posted throughout and be fine. Pretty easy with a great view at the lookout and along the south ridge. Quiet once you are away from the road and pet friendly. Will do this one again.

You can make the hike as easy or intense as you want. The moderate trail is quite steep to go up but makes a great work out.

Took our 7 month old out in the backpack carrier for her first hike today on this trail! It was muddy and slippery, which is to be expected at this time of year. Overall a great hike! We all enjoyed it and will go again!
