more of a moderate loop network of wide dirt/grass trails thru pasture and tall pine stands. good for the novice as footing is good and climbs aren't that steep. loops allow you to add on muiles if you want ant trailhead just about 8 miles from Spearfish.

There is a ton of loops in this trail. This is for the C - Loop trail. Lots of cows and more of an easy trail, and moderate for a beginner.

Very pretty hike though definitely not difficult. Many different kinds of vegetation and a bit of wildlife.

Very pretty scenery and was a nice day hike. Definitely should not be rated as hard. In my opinion, I would say it was mostly easy with a few spots that could be considered moderate because of some elevation gain.
