Lots of families swimming in the pools at the start of trail. Easy hike through the woods. Tall waterfalls was barely a trickle.

Easy hike with total round trip of 1.1 miles. Wide path and heavily traveled. Many mini waterfalls along the way and an easy flowing one at the end.

hiked this trail today with 2 dogs, a 5 yr old and 20 month old. excellent trail. great swimming hole at the very beginning of the trail and various water spots along the way and we were surprised to see another water fall half way through the loop. highly recommend with young ones.

While the falls were beautiful and the hike was fun, it was heavily populated, and not super clean which was a little disappointing.

Enjoyable trail! Beautiful waterfalls.

Roadside waterfalls, very nice. Be careful, many people have gotten hurt or lost their lives climbing on the falls. There is always a guy parked here selling boiled peanuts!! The trail continues beyond the roadside waterfalls to another upper falls, nice hike, very easy.

Beautiful, quick, and easy. Care should be taken near Upper Wildcat Falls, many deaths have occurred here due to falls. Nothing all that dangerous in general, it’s just and easily accessible waterfall that looks safe to climb; not a great mix.

Easy hike only 15-20 minutes form Travelers Rest with roadside parking.

This is a fun, short, free adventure a 20 minute drive fromTraveler's Rest. The most beautiful part is visible from the roadside. The upper Cascades are not very picturesque - basically a huge slab of rock with a few trickles of water. The trail at the upper falls crosses the creek. This part can be dangerous, especiallly without good shoes. Other than that tricky crossing, it is an easy, interesting, short hike. Bring the family. Unfortunately, uncaring adventurers have scattered a little litter and trash recently which cheapens the view in places.

very nice and easy - about 1-1.5 mile total loop. right off the road there is a small pond and waterfall, then a little walk up is a stone foundation of an old building with a cool info board. about a half a mile up from there and you get to the "waterfall" cascading down a huge slab of rock. cool place to adventure around - wouldn't recommend hiking higher than there. it loops back around a half a mile.

I loved this trail! It was nicely shaded and had so many beautiful views. We went on a Friday and only saw a few people there. I hope to get back to this little hidden gem soon.

This trail was a great road side find. You can see a small double layer waterfall from the road, however if you walk further you will come to a fork in the path if you go to the right it seems to be easier then if you go to the left. This trail does make a big loop took me a little over and hour to complete with 3 small kids plus I had knee surgery a 2 months ago. The trail is well marked even where you cross the rocks over the waterfall.

Easy, scenic one mile loop with three waterfalls and streams. The lower falls have a nice wading pool. Great hike for kids and dogs.

Nice easy walk, good hike for dogs and kids. Watch your steps on the rocks by the falls. Was dry so just a trickle at the falls. Still enjoyable.

Our good friends took us here for our first hike ever. Fairly easy to do even for a 61 yo recovering from health issues. Unfortunately the drought has robbed the various waterfalls of all but a trickle. Will definitely come back when the water returns. Still a great Sunday hike with friends.

The trail was a decent hike. Unfortunately, we have had such a dry summer that when we reached the waterfall there was no water :(

Really good for a beginner or someone who is recovering from health issue like me and starting hiking all over again! e
