Informative and interesting trail.

Nice 3.8 mile hike. Took us about 1.5 hours. Falls are not anything spectacular but a nice feature of the hike. Old log roads are a little grown up. Creek crossings warrant waterproof high top boots to prevent wet feet.

Decent hike for being so close to home. Easy level. Small “waterfall” but was a nice going along the river. Could take a dip if you like. Water was refreshing.

The trail is in reasonably good condition. The "waterfall" was very unimpressive, I subtracted one star for that. The other drawback is the two wet crossings. Even though there hasn't been much rain recently I had to go ankle deep to get across. With so many other nice trails and waterfalls around, just not much to recommend about this one.

Not well marked and waterfall (best feature) is in the beginning.

Great trail! there are 2 creek crossings - no more than 6 inches of water or so but you will get wet (Chacos recommended). Trail isn't very steep at any point and the waterfall is about a half mile in on the left. I only ran into a few people over the whole loop so not much traffic at all!

Decent trail overall, water fall is nice but nothing spectacular. Several river crossings, one of them is scenic. Definitely one of the better trails in the area and close to Clemson University.

The trail itself was really beautiful. There were 3 spots that you cannot walk across due to water so be prepared to get wet. It was marked good at the start but we did get of course easily twice and luckily had the app going to her back on it. Overall really pretty waterfall and several streams.

This trail was super cool, but recommend noting the water levels before hiking. There were two major places we had to cross the stream (which ended up looking like a mini river). The first time we walked along the stream and finally found two fallen logs that we could cross, the second time the water was quite deep we essentially walked/swam across, taking our shoes off. Recommend shoes that can get wet!

Cannot access the trail by car except for March 15-November 1. Adds about four miles (2 miles out 2 miles back) to the hike.

Do not go on this trail if it has just rained a lot. There were two creek crossing and l could only get through one. The other one on the rapids trail was very deep and fast. No way to get across at that point. Other than that it is a nice trail

The trail was really nice minus the mud! The road that led up to the tail was closed so we had a extra walk to get there but it was still so pretty I would do it again!

Great easy place to take a small stroll. The falls are great and it’s worth the stop.

I really enjoyed this hike. We had to take our shoes off to cross over in a couple of places but it was a nice little refresher as we waded across the creek. Probably would not do this one during the cooler months but as for today it was nice.

The trail was OK but it was VERY poorly marked, this is why the 3 stars. Also there were 2 places that required us to take off our shoes (or not but water was shin high) and wade across the water. While we enjoyed it and our dogs loved it - I can see how some might not so wanted to mention this.

I only did the West Logging Rd part of the trail to Six Mile Creek which was 30 ft or so across. There wasn't a way across without getting very wet so I turned back around. Now the trials I used to get there were wonderful...Rocky, Wounded Knee, Wildcat Technical and Wildcat Technical Alternate( on the way back). Saw lots of American Beautyberry bushes with berries (not yet purple in August) but I will be going back to see them. Wounded Knee looks like a good bike trail to try for the beginner. Lots of traffic on the trails...probably a bit more than I would like, but it was lovely nonetheless!

The creek was up so we rolled up the pants, took off the shoes and enjoyed the adventure! Rocky logging road deducts a star from the rating.

Streams in the way where you cannot cross without waders or getting wet. Trail doesn't look very well-maintained. The incessant dog barking noises indicated that there were hunters nearby.

We had a good time on this hike. It mostly follows logging roads, but it follows near the creek for a lot of the hike and has some pleasant scenery. My daughter and I spotted an owl late in the evening as we were getting close to the end, so that was cool. We really enjoyed the rapids. There are two places where you’ll have to get wet crossing the creek.

2 mile walk from gate when it is closed. One small waterfall, one small creek and 2 big creeks each way that I couldn't cross and had to turn around.

I’ll adjust my rating if we ever actually find this Trail and it turns out to be as nice as they say. We followed the road directions, and parked outside (limited parking!!) the gate (which is locked from Nov-April) and walked in. The road forks and there is a sign that points R to the dam and rec area. No sign about anything to L (which the gal back in town told me later was in fact the way to wildcat falls). After wandering aimlessly being able to find No other signs, trail markers or directions, we assumed the rec area was it and gave up.

Beautiful trail with a few easy water crossings. We followed white blazes as well as the all trails map. Our dog loved playing in the rapids
