excellent trail. we took scout to whippoorwill, then took swamp fox back to whippoorwill, took scout to camp.

This turned out to be a 7.1 mile trail if you take the Whippoorwill Trail and then the Splice Trail to get back to the parking lot.

We did this loop instead of the Knot Trail. I normally MTB this trail and is nice to see things from a different perspective. The trail is an easy hike.

Awesome trail for mountain biking. Hilly but not too steep. Perfect for Hartails.

The trail was easy to follow. The trees was bare so it allowed the sunlight in for the perfect weather and a great hike. Trail used by hikers and bikers. We only saw 1 snake, not poisonous and didn't seem to be scared of people. He just sat there watching us watch him. There's parts that wrap around huge craters which just make the scenery absolutely beautiful. I had the best time. Will return

Great hike! Well marked and maintained trail, but there was one spot that I had to trailblaze around some water on the path.
