Good trail. We recorded closer to 8 miles. I would say more moderately trafficked than lightly trafficked but we went on a Sunday. Lots of bikers. Loved the part of Sulpher Springs that followed the stream. Would do again. $6 entrance fee per person.

trail was 6 miles and just over 2 hours. The lake was really pretty. Lots of mountain bikers so be alert. I would say this is moderate and semi kid friendly but age 10ish. There are a couple strenuous parts but very short.

Pretty good hike overall. Was a bit hot/humid towards the end of it and better marking would have been great. You really have to watch to make sure your on the right path. The lake side was very pretty and there are a few places where you can see far out. Fine for kids at least upper Elementary and up I think can handle it if they can handle the length of the trail. Wish I could have recorded this one but AllTrails for some reason did not pick up GPS on both of our phones even though it was working for other apps.

Great combo when you want a longer hike. My favorite is still Sulpher Springs but, if we want to make the hike longer, I love the option of adding in this trail to make a longer loop.

The hiker only portion of Sulfur Springs is the best part of this trail. Lots of waterfalls were running due to the rain. Will do this one again.

This trail is located with Paris Mountain State Park, so in case you don’t have your SC Park pass it is $5 per person to enter the park. The trail was nice, no waterfalls. The section of Brissey Ridge was more of a climb than I envisioned but I’m not much for climbing though. A nice way to spend an afternoon outside
