It was pretty and tranquil but there was nothing posted that the end of the trail was closed and, even in late November, the mosquitoes were killer! (It was unseasonably warm)

This Is a tranquil tropical trail with a cool breeze calmly blowing. It is one of the most beautiful trails that I've visited here in the south. We brought mountain bikes and that was a very relaxed ride but the trail was so beautiful that we also walked this trail I suggest the walk. The trail is actually located in Edisto State park and not in the neighborhood that the GPS brings you into if you try to GPS. Just go to Edisto Beach State Park and you will find this hidden treasure. Enjoy ! and thank you AllTrails !

Pretty easy. Path is flat and not very challenging. Good for a first time mtn bikers. A few well laid out curves; taken at high speeds will up the adrenalin rush. Watch for hermit crabs crossing...

Nice hike! Starts at the Edisto Beach State Park though. Costs $5 per adult.
