We did this trail about 2 weeks ago. We actually left the picnic area and took the trail that was just past the Sloan Bridge access area sign on the same side of the road as the picnic area. It’s basically a section of the Foothills Trail between the Sloan Bridge access area to Fish Hatchery Rd. That is about 3.3 miles one way. The two little waterfalls that you can see from this trail are about .5 mile from the picnic area and if you want a closer view you will have to scale down the side and then climb your way back up, but it is doable if you want a closer look. I wouldn’t take small children down the side because it could be dangerous. Besides the waterfalls in the beginning there wasn’t much else on the trail or a rewarding destination, but it was nice being in the fresh air and the day had perfect weather! I don’t think we will be doing this trail again, but it’s nice to cross it off the list.

Short hike to bridge, several waterfalls along the way. Waterfalls are in distance can not get close. Narrow path with lots of tree roots to step over. Hiked past the bridge to get extra steps in.

Nice hike... lots of falls along the way that you can peek at down the hill, through the Rhododendrons, but keep going to the end for the beautiful falls that run under the bridge!! (The trail continues on, but the bridge is where the Sloan Bridge Falls are located)

It was a nice short walk. We were able to climb down to the bottom of the first waterfall and get a closer look but just off the foothills trail was blocked with a lot of piled up tree fall. You could see the falls from the trail. We hiked to the hikers peril fall and decided to keep going since it was a nice day. Very peaceful.

Sloan Bridge Falls were not very impressive but the views of the cascades on the stream were pretty.

Beautiful string of falls. a little hard to see from trail, which is part of the longer foothills trail.

This is an 'add on' trail. Views are mostly obstructed by foliage, might be a better winter hike. The trail is easy, although it is muddy and soft in spots. Check this trail off your list, but don't plan your day around it.

These falls are kind of weak compared to others in the area. When you have Bee Cove, Lower Whitewater and Upper Whitewater Falls all near by, it makes these look very small. I visited, checked off the list, probably won't go back. Overall trail was a pretty good walk though. Video of the hike: https://youtu.be/zMgJs2OfEVU

Not a fan. This trail is not well maintained, which increases its difficulty. It’s also worth noting that this is not a destination trail to the falls, but rather some falls located along 24 miles of total trail. We took kids ages 7 and 3. Okay for the seven year old, not for the 3. I’ll pass on doing this one again.
