Did this trail years ago...I remember lots of sand and lots of heat. It was summer time and like a desert. Simply dont recommend. One small downhill which was the highlight until your rims get buried in sand.

Great trail for walking, biking, running. Good place to be outdoors in the woods for a little while and not leave town.

Good trail, not too difficult. As mentioned, alot of straw and even more sand. The mountain bike trail single track isn't really that tight so with the exception of acouple downhill sections through some draws. Nice area, 2$ entrance fee per persona and defiantly alot of sites set up for other family outdoor recreations. Cool outings with the kids and trail runs is what I would use this site for. Mountain biking needs to be expanded here otherwise i'll be hitting harbison state forest for that.

For my first mountain biking experience, I'd have to say I started on the perfect trail! Despite the never ending sand, I got a great work out and a very fun ride. There are some small hills (I was told this trail is nothing compared to other trails) but the sand makes you work a bit harder. Lots of twists and turns and a good balance between inclined and declines! Recommended anyone to try it out

Not too difficult of a trail, but there is a lot of sand and pine straw, making it difficult at times. Your speed will really determine how difficult of a ride it will be. Not very technical, but a good ride overall. Definitely worth a trip out there.
