This is a great trail for the little ones you will learn some things about the area from the interpretive signs along the way. There is some steep uphill but as a whole this is a great hike. There are lots of things to do here from fishing, swimming, and hiking to camping and picnics. It's a nice little gem not to far out of the way.

We hiked the shorter trail, Leroy Smith nature trail. The longer one is called JFA, Jorge Francisco Arango, and is a little over 5 miles. Even just the shorter trail was nice with plenty to see and enjoy. I didn't seem to find a short trail called Sassy's Pass.

Getting back into this and this is a great beginner / intermediate trail. Just about ready to take on something tougher. If you're out of shape, this is still entirely doable, and a great workout. Either way, it's a really fun ride.
