this was an awesome place to visit. not only are the historical houses were great to see but the ground and trees surrounding the homes where great. i sat at one of the picnic table and a couple sat with me and we had a great time swapping stories. the employees were here so nice and a pleasure to talk with. i got some great pictures but the are too big of files to upload here sadly i would love to share them.

This is a pretty decent hike. Very easy terrain and would be a good walk for families in the early spring and fall. Trail needs a bit of maintenance but wasn't in bad shape the day I walked it. The dam area has tall grass so be cautious of ticks and other pest during the summer months.
