I see a lot of reviews saying they don't find the full 7 mile trail. The trails to the right of the parking lot (the trails on the map) are only about a mile and they do run into private property. You have to go down and to the left, along the river, to walk the longer, 7ish mile trail. A lot of parts are washed out and there are a lot of downed trees but you can still follow the trail, it's just harder to navigate than the short trail listed on the map. A fun adventure with lots of pretty river views and rock formations.
Easy walk from the parking lot. Several rock structures in the river are easily accessible on foot. Took my dog for a walk there, and he enjoyed the water and trail. Good spot to spend a Late morning - day trip on a Sat or Sun. You could splash in the water to cool off. You could picnic near the parking lot.
