we left from the Caesars Head parking area even though the Trail is clearly marked some of it is hardly recognizable as a trail a lot of rock scrambling and difficult footing it is definitely challenging and the trail we took was close to 15 miles following the pink Trail to the falls with about 3500 feet of climbing it took us six and a half hours. this is a hike you do to challenge yourself with very little Scenic views

This was the best trail of my hike. Has a lot of small waterfalls and a bridge over Raven Cliff Falls. Rocky descent after the bridge.

Ran the full trail using Gun Gap to make a 9.8 mile loop. There were a couple gaps in the blazes that took some hunting. Also once you start heading uphill towards the falls the trail is overgrown and a few trees down. Overall still was a great hike/run. Check out the cable bridge that leads to the girl scout camp.

Absolutely amazing hike! A couple weeks ago my fiance and I hiked naturaland trust/gum gap/raven cliff falls trails then up the road to the main parking lot for GPS said 10.6 miles! Couldn't recommend more! We did it during a real bad thunderstorm and stayed dry under a rock outcrop for about 20 mins. The Cathedral was amazing and so many small waterfalls and of course the suspension bridge over a roaring Raven Cliff Falls!

We did only part of this trail from Gum Gap to the bridge. It is more moderate on this stretch. We had no problems staying on the trail but someone had put an arrow made of branches pointing the way to the bridge. If we had not asked someone before seeing this, we would have stayed on the Gum Gap trail and not found the bridge. The bridge was a lot smaller, lengthwise, than we thought.

This trail is redonkulous. Great if you need a walkabout and want to examine your entire life. Or get to know someone. One of the best trails I've been on. Be sure to pack a lot of food and water and pace yourself...lot of climbing throughout. The trail is well marked...you just have to pay attention. It took us 5-6 hrs with 2-3 well-needed rest breaks to enjoy the streams/waterfalls and to eat. Bring a change of socks and/or shorts to enjoy the falls. Have fun and be safe! (Fill out the card at the trailhead with your name/info so they can identify your bodies fyi)

This Trail is Ridiculous!!! Me and 3 others got stuck in the trail at night!!! So definitely time it right if you are doing this trail. The pink signs are visible, but you have to be very careful, it is very easy to get lost. Amazing views and challenging. So for those looking for a challenge, this is your trail. We had planned going on a different trail, but when we found out it was closed we just went with this one and big mistake. Point being, plan to be in this trail for about 2 or 3 hours. Make sure you time it right to ensure you are out before sun set.

Just completed this trail today and the trail only has pink markings maybe half way and then you have to know how to get yourself to the end of it. We got lost without having the trail markings and found a road after a lot of walking. I would not recommend this trail unless you know the trail or have equipment to find a way without trail markings.

The trail is easy to follow. It is a great trail but once it crosses the mathews river, to go up to raven cliff falls. It gains about 1200 ft in elevation in about 1.5 miles i would recomend this trail only to experienced hikers that need a challange. The falls are more accessable by raven cliff falls trail. A 2.2mile trail to the outlook then gum gap trail out and back.
