Mountain Lake via Sulphur Springs Trail is a 1.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Greenville, South Carolina that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Great photo ops. perfect. place to take young children for an outing
Modified Sulphur Springs Loop adding sections of Kangua and Brissy Ridge trails.
Great trail and a lot of fun for the whole family. Please remember to pick up and carry out your dog waste!
This trail is off of a much longer trail. Both parking areas at the start of said longer trail and at the mountain lake access were completely full on a weekday. The access to this trail is a parking area of only three car spaces. You will have to park farther away and walk on a mountain road. Definitely not small kid friendly. I had 2 small kids and a baby in tow and was very disappointed we couldn’t check this out. Especially after paying park entry fees.
Beautiful day. We did not see a lot of other hikers. Everyone respectfully pulled off the trail when passing.
Hiked up the difficult side. Beautiful cool day, Trails well maintained.
