beautiful lake and waterfall, educational trail This is a perfect hike for the family. The trail is a self guided trail with numbered stops along the way. When you enter the park get the brochure that is the information that goes with the numbered stops. It is a pretty cool thing as you can let the kids have fun and learn a little along the way. There is a waterfall and a couple bridges for everyone to enjoy. This park has some tougher trails in the park as well as a number of things to do, swimming. boating, fishing etc. The parks proximity to Greenville makes it the perfect quick getaway for the day.

Very easy trail. It is a dirt trail with lots of roots and rocks. You can connect to Mountain Creek trail for more of a challenge. My six year old did this trail with no problems. We will be back.

The kind of meandering walk my mastiff and my 3 year old can handle with little protest. 5 stars for that alone!

Love this little trail. Circles the lake - water views the whole time. The bridge over the stream on the dam side is beautiful. Lots of easy access points to lake. Short and quick trail to enjoy a quiet morning. This area can get busy. But sometimes not being complete isolated is nice. Nice to see people enjoying the park.

We only did half of the trail but it was great. Hard for a double stroller but we left it before going down to the dam.

I would recommend this trail to anyone. Not one for bikes or strollers but it’s a nice walk around the lake and waterfall/dam. With two toddlers in tow it took us a little longer than average plus I forgot to stop the recording. We also got to catch a glimpse of what we think was a beaver.

perfect height for beginners and it was quite shady!

Walked this trail with a friend and her four year-old son today. I thought we were going on the longer Lake Placid Trail; however, we must have entered at the wrong place. Quick and easy.

We hiked the Mountain Creek trail and on the way back took the Lake Placid trail for a little extra walk. By the dam you can take the harder route which could be a little steep for some or detour by the road and make this area a little easier. It's a nice walk around the lake that most anyone can do.

Nice easy trail with wide paths. .8 of a mile around the lake, so you get some great views, plus water flowing over the dam which is beautiful as well. Benches along the trail which is a nice touch.

I loved hiking this trail at Paris Mountain. Very easy trail to hike. Most of the trail is shaded with benches spaced throughout to sit on. My group had lunch over one of the bridges on the trail. Beautiful and easy trail!
