very nice trail that runs alongside a creek for a good portion of the trail. currently the bridge is out so the last .4 mile of the trail is closed so I did not get to go all the way to the lake. I must admit I'm pretty out of shape but this was a very manageable hike and a great way to spend the afternoon! some parts are a little muddy but there are ways around the mud. all in all it was a great hike mixed with sun and shade.

Nice trail. Shade on most of the trail. Never encountered anyone. Somewhat narrow. A few muddy areas and one small tree was down, but were a week out from heavy rains on consecutive days.

I have hiked this trail several times over the years. It’s a fairly easy trail with some interesting landmarks. I have never been there when the trail was entirely, but I’ve never seen a huge crowd either. This trail is good for any season

Nice hike, first part alongside a creek. Nothing spectacular but a pleasant walk.

Got this one added to AllTrails. Starts in Kings Mtn National Military Park and ends at the lake in Kings Mtn State Park. It also connects to the south end of the Ridgeline Trail to Crowders Mtn State Park. 6 mile round trip. Good hike in the wilderness along a creek the first leg and then some minor elevation gain the rest of the way.
