Nice easy trail with several boardwalks over swampy marsh along the way, as well as an overlook for bird watching and more. Plenty of bugs in the summer, so be sure to pack repellent.

Love it! The only thing is that you have to park at the fire station which if you don’t know that makes you think your gps is wrong.... lol.... I love this place it has it all and so many trails! And a learning loop for kids! My dog loved it too! She wanted to swim so badly.. please go her pick a trail and enjoy!

Loved the trails and was great to see some wildlife. There seemed to be a lot of trash on the trails and along the water. Would have given 5 stars if it had been cleaner.

Very close to Greenville and easily accessible. Good for walking on an easy, mostly flat, well marked network of trails. Several extensive sections of well maintained boardwalk/footbridge. A section of the paved Swamp Rabbit Trail passes though. Views are mostly of swampy wetland and the Reedy River. Inhabited by several bird varieties, beavers and other animals. Many informative placards throughout. Larger parking area to the north and smaller parking area south by the fire station. Easy to get back to your car quickly, so good for an outing with children. We went in late August and had upper-70s and no problem with bugs. Spent about 2 hours and walked a bit over 3 miles, covering the majority of the area.

Good for what it is which is an easy, well marked trail with a river and lake view.

I put a one-star just so I can write a review. This was the worst park ever. No directions, I got lost and had to come back in the way I went.

Took my 3 yo and she loved it! We played at the park for a bit and then walked some of the trails. Not difficult at all, suitable for all ages. Even got to see a Great Blue Heron! Definitely bring bug spray for the summer.

very nice walk , though the bugs are pretty bad on some trails. Assuming because its on the lake.

Hiked and it seems paved the whole way. Aside from the beginning the parking is just off to the side of the fire station--you have to enter the fire station to park.

A nice trail with a boardwalk across some wetlands. Starts with a slight descent that will seem steeper on the return trip. Be sure to wear bug spray in the summer as the swampy conditions are perfect for flies and mosquitoes. The trailhead is located next to the Belmont Fire Department.
