good easy trail. maybe a third of it was flooded but crossable. some minor repairs to boardwalks and birdboxes needed. but good park.

HikingFloodedGreat!Muddy

Easy and fun winter hike for families with little kids. Trail is well marked, flat. Some parts of the trail are muddy and flooded from all the recent rain in the area. The kids however enjoyed the challenge of “parkouring” through it. Best if you have waterproof hiking boots.

WalkingGreat!

It’s a nice, easy walking trail. I’d be cautious about going in the spring and summer with all the mosquitoes and snakes, but it was a perfect winter hike. 2 miles at a steady pace took about 45 minutes and the trail signs are easy to follow.

Don't go until the first frost. The mosquitoes are atrocious.

First half is marked clearly. After the loop, the trail needs maintenance. As others have said, Don’t Forget Your Bug Spray.

The trail was flooded in parts and the trail isn’t marked that well. It is still a good hiking trail.

This is a very easy trail with boardwalk covering many pieces of it. The first half of the trail was kept up very nicely but the second half was overgrown. Wear pants or your legs will get scratched up! Also bring bug spray because the bugs come in swarms! Overall a good short hike

Awesome easy trail. Went after heavy rain and had to find my way around mud and puddles a few times, but it was a neat walk in a cute state park.

It was really muddy and you will get your shoes wet is your going this time of year. (A sign even warns you of this before you begin.) We had a blast but we did end up going off of the trail a few times to try to stay dry and gave up and finished the trail with wet feet. It was fun if this doesn’t bother you. We loved it and had fun!

It was very flooded today, however it’s usually a nice, flat, and wide trail great for families.

Connection to remainder of Trail not clear after you cross the first paved road. We cut our hike short since no markings evident
