Loop through mostly flat pine forest. Some areas have been logged.
Visited 12/11/16. To get there, expect mile after mile of single lane gravel-->then dirt roads. Hopefully you will have 4-wheel drive as there are many ruts and difficult terrain. It had also rained quite a lot a few days ago and my journey terminated when I came to a concrete slab (apparently a rudimentary bridge) that was underwater. I never did find the actual trail area, and came away feeling very frustrated. I used 2 different GPS devices to get there: my iPhone 6+ google maps and my new Garmin vehicle GPS.
nice 5.7 mile loop that remains relatively flat. Gets overgrown in summer.
