The Hardwood Wetlands Trail is a short and easy walk as the name implies you will be walking through a Hardwood Wetlands Habitat located at the Clemson Sandhill Research and Education Center. There are a number of benches along the route where you can sit and enjoy the solitude even though you are not far from civilization. Plenty of small creeks for the kids to play in as well. The water in this area is supplied by springs 60% of which come from filtration of rain water at higher elevations. The SC Children's Garden is an excellent place to park.
